About
Junior Breakers is the official grass roots arm of the Sky Sport Breakers, providing programmes and camps to inspire the community’s basketball stars of the future.
We are a membership based organisation and cater for girls and boys aged 5-12yrs.
Our programmes focus on basketball fundamentals in a fun and encouraging environment and are led by our highly experienced coaches at the Breakers official training facility in Mairangi Bay.

Saturday Skills
Our ever-popular Saturday Skills programme focuses on individual development in dribbling, shooting and defense; catering for all abilities and experience levels. There is a maximum of 40 children in each session with 4 coaches. Children are divided into groups based on their level of experience and skill.

Holiday Camps
Bring the kids along to a fun-filled camp packed with skills, drills and of course basketball! All participants recieve a Junior Breakers Holiday Camp t-shirt. Our camps are suitable for kids with basketball skills of any level, but be in quick and secure your spot as they sell out every term. We are continuing to offer early drop off and late pick up options for our attendees - see below for more details!
